Sáo dieu

Is a musical instrument of airophonic family, air driving branch of Viet majority. The body of flute is made from a bamboo section of 30 - 55 cm length, 5 - 11 cm diameter. From the middle of flute's body, 4 rectangle-shape holes are pierced for bounding to the kite's body. At both end of the flute's body, 2 blowing-holes of rectangle-shape are located for the wind putting in. The stronger the wind putting in, the higher the kite is go up to make the sounds are more sonorous.
